theanaestheticgroup is a group of Consultant Anaesthetists whose private practice is based at Sarum Road Hospital (Circle Health Group), Winchester but extends across Hampshire to The Wessex Nuffield Hospital, Medicana Winchester Clinic, Spire Southampton and The Hampshire Clinic in Basingstoke. All Consultants work for the NHS at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester.

theanaestheticgroup provides a comprehensive anaesthetic service to patients undergoing a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. These include general surgery from hernia repair to major bowel resection both of which may be performed laparascopically, varicose vein including endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) and other vascular surgery, orthopaedic including joint replacement, gynaecological, ear nose and throat, breast surgery – including breast reduction, plastic and cosmetic surgery, obesity surgery and ophthalmic surgery. Our anaesthetic service includes a full pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care. High dependency and intensive care is available when required. We also provide an acute pain service for the duration of your in-hospital stay.
